With my new webcam, that is. I got the webcam, maybe 2 weeks ago. And at first i really really liked it, because the images are so clear, i think its 5 megapixel. So yea, its really nice. It comes with a lot of features for editing, and other stuff. That's love. Now, the Hate part, the video sucks. Bigtime. Ive tried it over and over again, and it doesnt work the way it should! I dont know how to describe it, its like, when you playback what you recorded, everything's fast forwarded. Or imagine a video, being rewinded. Dba?!?! so what the use of recording a video pa. it's so frustrating, seriously. So ano, i'd spend nanaman for a new webcam?! Hell no! ugh.

Ive always wanted to do a video blog. Haha. NOT. Lol. Im not really into taking video, not even pictures. Im not the camwhore type of person. I dont know why, maybe because the camera doestt love me. Haha... Anyways, i think im gonna go back to the shop where my folks got the webcam, im gonna be bitchin' aroung that shop and ask for them to fix/replace or do whatever's right with it. And hopefully, when it get's fixed, ill have the courage to record a video, and post it here. :)

So i met up with my friend Micah to see the premiere of the indie film "Butas". Its "Loophole" to you, non-filipino speaking fellas. T'was held at the U.P. Film Center, which was actually better than what my friend and i expected. Since its a state university, and plus for a fact that its not a well financed establishment, we thought that their "cinema" was gonna be a not so nice place. At first i thought that the airconditioning was gonna be bad, and the chairs were gonna be rock hard, etc etc.. But we were really surprised coz when we got in, it was really, really cold inside! The airconditioning was working very well, way more than what we expected, the chairs werent that bad either, and it was fairly clean. You really can never judge a book by its cover. :)

Back to the film, "Butas". Well, i wasnt really intrested with the movie. First of all, i was never a fan of local films, idk why, but yea. Im sorry, i know one person from the gazillion population and local movie goers, would not hurt. The movie was really, really, really borring. Thank goodness for Marco Morales' dick. Lol. But its true, people only went to see his dingdong! Or at least, those gay guys, including me, who occupied almost 99% of the audience. I swear! I thought i was gonna attend a Pride March! Lol. It was like a little "Malate" when i got there! Hahaha.

So there, im now really tamad to type more nonsense, so i'll be leaving you with that. And oh by the way, i now go to gay scene clubs. YES!hahaha. Club Government is love!hahha. I love their poles! Woohoo! and their Go-Go boys! ilavet! hahaha.... :)

WHAT IF? One day, you woke up to a world where everything has turned, 360 degrees. In a world where straight people are the minority, and gay sexuality is the norm. A world where straight people would have to keep their relationship in secrecy. Where gay people would look at straight people with disgust and anger. A world where straight people would have to sacrifice their own rights, because gay people tell so....

How would you feel if your freedom would depend on what other people would say, and vote. (Proposition 8) Each individual has civil rights, but not with Prop 8. Proposition 8 is not about preserving the traditions of marriage, but it is all about discrimination, bigotry.

If you voted yes for Prop8, you actually complied with stripping off equality and rights amongst gay people. Can your conscience take it? Invading somebody's rights and choice to live his own.

What if we gay people were to strip off the rights among straight people. How would that make you feel? You wont have the right to marry your loved one. What if, we gay people, would be the one telling you with what are the "limitations" of your rights are. What if we gay people would "dictate" whether where you can go, what you can do, what you can say, what rights can you practice. How would you "straight" people feel?

I already accept the fact that homosexuality will never have equity in this world. But i am still hoping. The fact here is, who are you people to tell us that we can not have a relationship among our same-sex? We are all God's children. We are born with our OWN minds, hearts, souls, body. And i HOPE that we can practice and actually put justice to this.

No one should restrict US of our OWN rights. No one. Your mom, your dad, your brother, your neighbor, your office mate, whoever. Only you can decide, and practice your own rights. I know that same-sex relationship is still not accepted whole-heartedly.

Would you really take away the right to love from a person? Can your conscience take it?

Would you rather have your son, daughter, brother, sister, bestfriend, cousin, nephew, niece, mom, dad, grow up alone only because you still believe that it is a sin. And because you are afraid of what others might think?

Would you rather see your loved one go on with his/her life alone. No one to accompany him/her when they age and grow old and weak? Would you take away that sweet life? Can you take it?

Are you that selfish? Would you want your loved one's never to experience waking up with someone beside him/her? Never to have that chance of spending his/her birthday with that special someone? Or even that normal day to day life. Never to share that intimacy that is burning inside towards your loved one?

Would you just rather have that person look at a lovely couple passing by him/her, while he/she is alone, all by him/herself. Wishing that someday he/she will have that same picture in her life. Living a normal life. Would you rather have to spend his/her life alone, at home. Doing nothing but watch television, cook to himself, eat dinner alone, wait until he feels sleepy, go to bed alone, waking up alone, going to work, and having to do the same things over and over again, all by himself? No one to share stories of what happened in his/her day at work, school, or whatever.

To those who voted YES to Proposition 8, especially to that person who cam up with that bullshit. You just don't know how SELFISH you are.

Easy for you "straight people" to say. Because you haven't, and will never experience this. You wont have to go through with what we go through each and everyday of our lives. We have to work TWICE, THRICE as hard just to EARN that RESPECT and RIGHT that we should have.

Why don't you walk a mile in our shoes, and then after maybe you can speak.

Kasthen's Despedida Dinner

Kasthen's leaving on the 4th of December for her 6-month internship at Le Meridien, KL Malaysia.

We had a despedida dinner at her place at Essensa, last sunday. There were lotsa food. Her mum's carbonara, yummy. Giant crab claws, kit's fave. Lengua, eeew. Sushi's and Sashimi's of all kind, etc...And ofcourse, some wine and vodka, tequilla to liven up the night. Sober night for me, sadly. But nonetheless, i had fun!

See, Kasthen and I met last November ('07) during our orientation.. I was a new student then... yada yada yada, So it's been like a year already. And i can say we've been through lots during that span of time. :) We are soooo much alike, I effin swear. She's like my girl version, vice-versa. We are soulsistah's. That's how we call each other, that's how close we are!

It's been quite a while since i had some! For me, this is the best street food ever, here in the third-world. ilavet! I'm quite sure you've had this at one point in your life. Dont deny! You know you love (me) it! (We all know people deny the fact that they eat these, cause it may bruise their "sosyal" image. Oh, were you hurt? Well watever b*tches!) Well anyhoo's, I personally think that UP (University of the Philippines) street vendors make the best kwek-kwek's in town. Seriously! I dont care if its dirty or what. LOL. haha. I'd still eat it, and sh*t it afterwards. And prolly shoot myself if i knew they used "kanal" water for their sauces. Just kidding! Did i just murdered you appetites? Sarrryyy!!!!!

For those who are not aware of what K2 (kwek-kwek/ im too lazy to type it again and again, so from now on, its understood!) It's basically your normal hard boiled egg. Whether it be chicken or quail eggs. Shells removed ofcourse. And then, you dredge it in flour before dipping it into a batter of flour, water, food color & salt. ( Basically that's it for the batter, to each his own recipe) And after dipping it into the batter, you deep-fry it until the coating crisps up. You drain the oil, and you add your desired sauce. It can be a spiced vinegar, or a sweet & spicy brown sauce. It's usually served, skewered in a bamboo barbecue stick, on a rectangular paper plate.

Voila! Ready to be eaten, or to be sold! If you are a vendor, that is. And im sure youre not. I wish. I hope. I think? Well i really downcur. :)

PepsiCo has anounced that they will be changing their logo ( for the nth time) and it will take place by next year.

The company said that it something like a smile, but it really doesnt look like one to me. Anyways, they'll be using that as their main logo. While they will be using a "grin" logo for the Diet Pepsi, and a "laugh" for Pepsi Max.

An estimated amount of $1b will be spent to remove all old logos everywhere. It will be launched sometime next year.

This change will be its 11th in the 110 years history of PepsiCo.

Tuna Melt. Hot crusty bread, cold tuna filling, melting cheese, crisp lettuce, and juicy tomatoes. Ooh-la-la! I want one NOW. Ive actually started eating tuna sandwiches of all kind, only this year. I dont know why. I think i hated the fact that its fish. My family always loved tuna sandwich, and i was the only one who would eat it. Oh yea, i hated the mayonnaise in it as well.

My Tuna Sandwich obsession started when our school moved in to our new campus. We would try out all the different restaurants nearby. So blah blah blah, i ended up ordering this tuna sandwich in this local restaurant. For some reasons, i had a sudden craving when i saw the picture. And i thought to myself, it was really good! ilavet!

By the way, that restaurant is "Pancake House". A local restaurant here in the Phils. I just hope they serve it in a bigger portions. And by that i mean BIG. TRIPLE DECKER.

Remember Sam? Our new puppy? Well, earlier this afternoon, my dad decided to give her away. :( and it broke my heart, my kuya and my mom's as well.

Sam is the only source of joy in this house. Eventhough we had a hard time handling her, cleaning her poop, her pee, wiping her behind after every pupu, preparing her breakfast, lunch, and dinner, preparing her milk, playing with her, letting her out of the door when she cries, because she always wanted to play outside. And all of those cute things that she does...

I will miss her. I'll miss seeing her sleep on the floor, between the sofas, under the staircase, under the tables, on top of the rugs. Ill miss it when she lays her head on our feet. Sam playing with papa's slippers, Sam murdering one of my sacrificial stuffed toys, her own towel. Sam crying when we leave her alone. Ill miss running after her, watching out if she's gonna go or not. Ill miss Sam. Even if we just had her for a few days.

No other puppy can replace you, Sam.

and NO, she doesnt get on our nerves...

Hallo! It's been a while since i last blogged ye know. It's because our new puppy is taking most of my time! Err. I know ive been wanting a dog since whenever, but now that i have one, it's STRESS! Ugh, major! SAMantha (puppy) is only a month and a few weeks old. So she really needs a lot of attention and care. It's killing me! I just wish dogs dont poop and leak. :( I dont have much patience, she's getting on OUR nerves :(

Meet the newest addition to our family of good genes! Voila! It's Sam! It's Sam for Samantha, coz shes a laydeh! Not Sam Milby or Sam Concepcion..eek! Well anyways, our Sam is just 41 days old! oh yes! 1 month and 11 days! ( okay, make that 42)

She's a pure Black Labrador pup! We got her just today from our cousin. She is soooo kyowt! Her black color is so intense! Too bad my picture doesnt show it. Well at first she was still very shy, she kept on sleeping and she was always satying under the staircase. Its as if she wasnt too excited that we got her. Hahaha. It's normal, i guess. Its her 1st day with us :) But later that night, after having her first meal with us, she was suddenly a ball of enregy! ilavet! I was just so grossed out when she had her first poop. Ugh, thank God it was one solid piece. hahaha. Not the LBM-ish type of poop. Too much info? haha. well, bear with me! And yea, my brother and i wiped his cute little ass after. :) Very hygienic I say. I cant wait for her to grow up! I want to walk her around. Maybe do a little jogging also. Lab's actually need TONS of exercise. Err. i dont wanna leaver her!!! I dont even wanna leave the house! I dont even wanna go to school anymore cause of this bitch! haha. ( female dog, that is)

So right now, while I am blogging, 12:06 am in my room, Sam's already sleeping. Yep, shes sleeping in my room! But she has to stay on the floor. haha. For many reasons :) Oh my, oh my, i can smell her odor!!!! hahaha. SAD i still cant bathe her. Shes to young. So it means we're gonna have to tolerate her natural smell for a few more weeks. hahaha. But her cuteness makes up for it though...

SO PLEASE, teach me tips on how to take good care of a lab pup! I dont know a single thing! But I've been reading books and articles on the web. I hope it helps. Grooming, feeding, exercise. diet, body language, EVERYTHING! I need to know everything!

"The old-school version of this classic morning-after drink just doesn't cut it for Todd Thrasher, sommelier, general manager, and "chief floor sweeper" at the acclaimed Restaurant Eve, in Alexandria, VA. His myriad job titles also include "drink maker," a low-key designation for someone who truly deserves the hackneyed "bar chef" moniker. This is a guy who makes four types of ice cubes and a cocktail using roasted Meyer lemons and bay leaves, and comes into the restaurant every Saturday, before anyone is in the kitchen, so he can experiment undisturbed. "There are so many cool tools and ingredients in the kitchen," he says, "so why not use them?" Needless to say, his Bloody Mary requires a bit more effort than just a good stir.

Thrasher's qualm with the traditional Bloody is the thick texture contributed by the tomato juice, so he eliminates it by making an easy consommé using ripe tomatoes along with red onion, serrano chile, and orange juice, a combination inspired by sangrita, a liquorless chaser for tequila. Poured over ice and spiked with citrus vodka, his rendition tastes fresh and lively, perfect for summer. "

Ingredients

Tomato water
4 large beefsteak tomatoes, quartered
1/2 serrano chile, roughly chopped
1/4 red onion, roughly chopped
3-inch piece of lemongrass, tough outer leaves removed and roughly chopped
small pinch sugar
large pinch salt
1/2 lime
1/2 lemon
1/2 orange
2 18-inch-square pieces cheesecloth

Bloody Mary
Ice16 ounces tomato water
6 ounces Grey Goose Le Citron (or any citrus vodka)
4 cherry tomatoes for garnish

For tomato water:
In food processor, purée first six ingredients until smooth. Line sieve with cheesecloth and set sieve over nonreactive bowl. Pour purée into center of cheesecloth and refrigerate overnight. Gather sides of cheesecloth up over purée to form large sack and squeeze gently to extract last bits of water. Discard sack and its contents and transfer tomato water to bowl. Set strainer over bowl and squeeze in lime, lemon, and orange juice. Stir well. Makes about 20 ounces tomato water, enough for roughly 4 drinks.

For Bloody Mary
Fill 4 highball glasses with ice. In each, combine 4 ounces tomato water and 1 1/2 ounces vodka and stir. Garnish with cherry tomatoes.

Rocco DiSpiritu was born and raised in Jamaica, Queens. His culinary experience began at age eleven in his mother Nicolin's kitchen. By the age of 16, DiSpirito entered the Culinary Institute of America. He graduated in 1986 and studied abroad at Jardin de Cygne in France with Dominique Cecillon and Gray Kunz. In 1990, DiSpirito earned a B.S. in Business from Boston University.

He worked at Adrienne in New York and as Chef de Partie at Aujourd'hui in Boston. DiSpirito then joined Lespinasse's opening team. In 1997, DiSpirito opened Union Pacific in New York City's Gramercy Park as Chef and Owner. In 1999, DiSpirito was named Food & Wine's Best New Chef, and in 2000, Gourmet magazine called him "America's Most Exciting Young Chef."

DiSpirito opened Rocco's 22nd Street in the summer of 2003 while cameras for NBC's The Restaurant watched
and took notes. Later that summer, more than nine million viewers a week tuned in to see the ups and downs of DiSpirito's family-inspired eatery. The second series aired in the spring of 2004.

DiSpirito is the author of Flavor (Hyperion, October 2003), a unique cook book that breaks down his concept of building dishes on the four basic flavors, making his unique approach to food accessible to the home cook. Buffalo Chicken Tenders with Celery and Blue Cheese Salad

Estimated Cost: $20

canola oil 1 gallon*
corn flour for dredging*
1 1/2 pounds chicken tenders
salt and pepper to taste*
3/4 cup Steve and Ed's Buffalo Wing Sauce, or other buffalo wing sauce of choice
2 celery hearts, sliced on a bias
1 1/4 cups crumbled blue cheese
2/3 cup mayonnaise

Heat oil in a large pot to 400 degrees. Dredge chicken tenders in corn flour. Add tenders to hot oil and stir occasionally during cooking. Cook for about 5 minutes or until tenders are golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels and season with salt and pepper. Toss in a large bowl with hot sauce. While wings are cooking, combine celery hearts, blue cheese and mayo in a large bowl. Mix to coat and season with salt and pepper. To serve, divide celery salad among four plates and pile an equal amount of tenders on top of each salad.
Yield: Serves: 4

Mama's Meat Balls

1/3 cup chicken stock
1/4 yellow onion
1 clove garlic
¼ cup fresh Italian flat-leaf parsley, chopped fine
1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
1/2 lb ground veal
1/3 cup plain breadcrumbs
2 eggs1/4 cup Parmigiano-Reggiano, grated
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp salt
3-6 cups Mama's Marinara, or your favorite marinara
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil

1. Place the chicken stock, onion, garlic and parsley in a blender of food processor and puree.

2. In a large bowl, combine the pureed stock mix, meat, bread crumbs, eggs, Parmigiano-Reggiano, red pepper flakes, parsley and salt. Combine with both hands until mixture is uniform. Do not over mix.

3. Put a little olive oil on your hands and form mixture into balls a little larger than golf balls. They should be about ¼ cup each, though if you prefer bigger or smaller, it will only affect the browning time.

4. Pour about 1/2-inch of extra virgin olive oil into a straight-sided, 10-inch-wide sauté pan and heat over medium-high flame. Add the meatballs to the pan (working in batches if necessary) and brown meatballs, turning once. This will take about 10-15 minutes.

5. While the meatballs are browning, heat the marinara sauce in a stockpot over medium heat. Lift the meatballs out of the sauté pan with a slotted spoon and put them in the marinara sauce. Stir gently. Simmer for one hour.

6. Serve with a little extra Parmigiano-Reggiano sprinkled on top. Serve alone or over spaghetti (in which case, you will need 6 cups of marinara).
Yield: Serves 4 as antipasto or over spaghetti

Here's what happened last October 18 '08 at the Rockwell Tent during the Pink Kitchen :>

The first photo shows you the setting, which is 108 times better in reality. And the second photo shows my friend and I making some salads.

(Forgive me, i wasnt able to get much photos coz i was very busy serving)

Men In Uniform! Haha, Enderun students who provided service to the guests. Other photo is the Salad team. The conceited me, Allan, Babita, and Indy.

I know, i know. I look so haggard. pfft.. watevs. Ooooh Chef Rob is love, and... bloated :l And her wife is pretty-prettyhan also. :)

Okay, so I started serving by 11:00 am, had my lunch break at 3:40 pm, and continued to work till 10:00 pm. Im telling you, standing for 11 hours straight is NOT easy. I died.

Well anyhoooooo! It was hella fun. I manned the salad station together with the Enderun team. The guests loved our salads. We actually offered 4 choices.

First is the Pinoy Salad, which has itlog na pula (salted eggs) crispy dilis (anchovies) and cherry tomatoes, tossed in a Calamansi Mustard dressing.

The second salad was tossed in a Honey-Balsamic dressing topped with olives, peppers, grapes and kesong puti (goat's cheese)

Third was my favorite, the Asian Salad. This one's good. It comes with pomelo, hoisin chicken, and crispy wonton with a Sesame-peanut dressing.

And ofcourse, last but definitely not the least because it was actually the best-seller, is the classic Ceasar's Salad. topped with crunchy bacon bits, croutons, and tons of parmegiano regiano!Hmm.. not really, it was just the powdered parmesan in a green bottle. HAHA.

And eto, according to my ever-so-reliable gayydarr, there were quite a few cute chefs there!Ahahaha. Sight-seeing much?! Cute chefs meaning

Jiaozo (Dumplings)
Meat, seafood and vegetables are wrapped inside thin layers of ravioli to create jiaozi, which are always eaten on the eve of Chinese New Year. Pork jiaozi are stacked on bamboo steamers at just about any noodle shack, where 10 will cost less than 50 cents. The more upmarket varieties, including fresh crab, are available at Tian Jin Bai Jiao Yuan in Xuanwumen, which proudly displays a photograph of Barbara Bush, a visitor to the restaurant in 2005, on the wall.

Nian Gao (New Year Cake)
Beijingers eat nian gao--sticky rice cake--over the New Year holiday. (The name of the dish literally translates to "This year will be better than the last.") Lu Da Gun (on the left of the plate) is of Islamic origin and consists of yellow rice filled with red bean curd. After the cake is divided up into blocks, it is rolled in soybean flour, apparently resembling a donkey rolling on the ground and kicking up dust. It is sold at Jiumen Xiaochi near Houhai Lake.

Peking Duck
The flag-bearer of Beijing cuisine, Peking duck has remained top of the capital's menu since the 19th century while other Beijing delicacies have fallen by the wayside. The best place in Beijing to stuff pancakes is the old courtyard restaurant of Liqun. The first Westerner to discover the place was a German tourist who got lost on his bike in the 1990s. Several years of word of mouth later, the likes of Al Gore are pictured on the wall.

Giant Scorpions
A traditional Chinese medicine doctor will tell you that scorpions have a potent medicinal value, but in Beijing they are skewered on sticks at Donghuamen night market, deep-fried in oil and sprinkled with spice. They are mainly munched by giggling overseas tourists who, unlike long-term residents, don't shy away from the $7 asking price

Tang Erduo (Sweet Ear)
This is a Muslim-inspired, rather unhealthy snack made by deep-frying flour coated in an obscene amount of brown sugar. Its name comes from its resemblance to a (somewhat mangled) human ear. It is sold in Baikuilaohao Muslim restaurant in Longfu Square, which is also famous for its braised mutton and roast pigeon.

Bing Tang Hu Lu

These ruby red, candied hawthorn fruits are stacked on top of each other on a wooden stick and sold at stalls all over Beijing. They are in season January and February--although you can get them year round at Donghuamen night market--and are synonymous with the Temple Fairs held in Beijing's parks during the Spring Festival holiday.

Buddha Jumps Over The Wall Soup

One of the most popular dishes in Chinese imperial cuisine, it consists of 20 different types of food, including the pricey delicacies of shark's fin, abalone and sea cucumber, and takes three days to prepare. It's not cheap at $43 a bowl, but you are also paying for the sumptuous surroundings of imperial restaurants such as Royal Restaurant, which has one of its three branches in Jinyu Hutong near Wangfujing Dajie.

Chao Gan (Fried Liver)

This dish is a concoction of pigs' intestines, liver, soy sauce, mashed garlic, starch and aniseed. The ingredients are actually all boiled together instead of fried; the misleading name harks back to a different cooking method during the Qing Dynasty. To eat it like a pro, discard your chopsticks, place your hands on either side of the bowl and slurp. The dish can be bought at Jiumen Xiaochi.

Old Beijing Fusion

Chef Yap Poh Weng, at the Whampoa Club in Beijing, uses traditional Beijing recipes as the foundations of his contemporary dishes and adds international flare with some Western ingredients. His taster menu (pictured here) features bean curd and vegetable roll with foie gras terrine, a duo of cabbage and spinach rolls with shrimp and scallop flavored with yellow mustard and wasabi jelly, and an assortment of four varieties of pickled crunchy vegetable salad.

Hotpot

There are two types of hotpot: Mongolian, which is traditionally eaten by Beijingers, and a spicy number from Sichuan. Diners load wafer-thin meat, vegetables and squares of congealed duck blood into the stock. A few minutes later, the food is ready to be fished out and dunked in a dipping sauce of peanut and sesame

Shangri-la sizzles the PepperLunch way!

The D-I-Y style steak house will soon invade Shangri-la Plaza, as PepperLunch will soon open its second branch come this December!

Honestly fellow third-world-citizens, I've only been to PepperLunch twice! And my first experience was a so-so. My friends were convincing me to try it out, so i went. The moment i got there, the fisrt thing that occured to me, was that the entire space was so freakin HOT man! It's inevitable coz they serve their food over a 260 degrees celsius electromagnetic plate thingy. I just hope that they do something with it, maybe add some vent or watever. But nonetheless, the line was long, so i suppose, it was worth to take in all that steam.

So there, i waited in line, then i got to order food. I went through their menu, and they had the usual chicken, burger steak, beef strips, etc. The usual food that you would see served in a sizzling plate. So i ordered the Curry Beef Pepper Rice. You see, I'm not a fan of curry coz i don't like the fact that it has cream, but the thing is, at PepperLunch, they just sprinkle plain curry powder on top. No cream or gata (coconut milk) whatsoever. Purrrrfect for moi! They also have salads they call SHAKE!SHAKE!SALAD! where they serve it in plastic cups. hmm... i really don't like the idea. It kind of feels cheap in a way. But innovative of some sort, i guess. And then you also have their desserts. The usual chocolate cake, crepe cake, and they have this Matcha(a more expensive kind of tea) Cheesecake and Kuromitsu(molasses of some kin) Vanilla Ice Cream.

SOOOOOO all in all, my experience with PepperLunch was okay. However, i smelled like i slaved over the kitchen for hours after leaving the place. Staff's okay. Service was okay. Ambiance, was also okay. But more ventilation could help. The idea of hot plate was kinda kewl, not really that special, just like an edgier version of the normal "sisig sizzling plates"haha. And the food itself was just right, not bad for the price. And yes, i liked the Curry Beef Pepper Rice. I also had 2 sodas coz twas really hot! When you leave Pepper Lunch, you're not really gonna remember how good the food was, but how HOT it was and how many times you got burned eating it! ( But twas delicious)

So again, guys, girls, and tinkerbells. Watch out for the 2nd branch of Pepper Lunch coming your way at the Shangri-la Plaza this Holiday!!!!

VOILA! The ever so gay PINK KITCHEN is back! The ultimate gathering for the food enthusiasts is back back back!!!! And now, they have the oh-so-eccentric-but-ilavet- Tessa Prieto-Valdez's face on their posters! See guys, Pink Kitchen is not just about good food, it actually has a purpose, and that is, to help ICANSERVE Foundation, a non-profit org that empowers women with breast cancer.

This event will be held at Rockwell Tent on the 18th and 19th of October. With ticket prices of Php200 and Php100 for children. The ticket is good for only a day though, but come on -come on fellow third world citizens! Spend your money for a cause! If you can blow out cash on not-so-important things, why not cash out on this one! You'll get to enjoy good food from more thatn 50 stalls onsite! And you can have the oppurunity to meet those kickass chefs that you only see on TV! Hot chefs! such as Chef Rob of the watevur show on the local cable tv! Picture picture!!!! I know you want one!
